About Me

HJ: As a child and young adult I was always different then everyone else. I saw things that no one else did. I remember I would see something from a far, I would then close my eyes (as if it was a shutter) and try to remember what I saw forever. I would love to say I grew up with a camera in my hand, but I did not. For all I had was my eyes and a deep desire to freeze what I saw in my mind forever. As I grew up I became more enthralled with the fact that I was different. I saved all my pennies for a year to buy my first point and shoot camera, it was not long before I moved to a DSLR. I love photography and all it offers. Now I get to take what I see in my head and make art. It truly is a great gift to be different. In the way I see things, that I now know how to embrace. I make art. Not everyone will understand not everyone will love it. Its art and that is the way it goes.
