Tangled & Intriguing – Valentine’s 2011

So I sit here racking my brain for a blog post. Just thinking away. My mind drifts in and out. I start thinking about all the relationships I have, what everyone around me has going on, what they are doing in life, family, friends, work. As I search for something to write about. I already kinda know what I want to write about, I'm finding that the words are hard to find.  But guess what I found them.

Men want to know what women want? Women want to know what the man in their life want? So for fun I googled : What do women want? The one result I found that really surprised me was that most of what I was reading was written by men for men. In fact, most of what I read was true. Most of the women I know want all the things they were saying. But this got me thinking ; #1 Why are men writing about what we women want? Really I know why because first there is money in it. Men will pay money to figure this out. However my big question is ; Why don't you men just ask your lady? You can read all you want to. The truth is yes it may help you. The downfall is you still wont get it right. Why because ALL women are different. So do your self a favor get off the computer, put that article down (the one that is telling you what women want), shut off your phone, shut off the tv, get all distractions out of your way.... And here is the key... You ready....... 

Just ask her what she wants? Easy breezy if you really listen she will tell you.

For some giggles ladies here is a list I found :

The top 6 things women want FROM MEN, in order, are:

1. Women want men who exhibit confidence (or power)

2. Women want men with a sense of humor (fun)

3. Women want men with money or the things money can buy (sense of security)

4. Women want men with looks (protection and attraction)

5. Women want men with a bit of "Bad boy" qualities (mysterious and independent/strong)

6. Women want all the other stuff they typically list (varies - sensitive, caring, etc.)

Hummm not sure that's  accurate?

Layers Of A Women

My first post stated that I would be posting many different things not just my work. I hope to be some source of information for my readers I hope to start great conversations with this blog.

First real post:  Layers of a Women: The most common thing that men will complain about is that; we women are confusing, they don't get us? How do we answer this? Well there is no one answer to the old age question what do woman want, how do I understand her? You cant. The only thing you as a man and you as a women can do is understand  that A Woman Has Many Many Layers of her self. We are moms, wives, sisters, Aunts, a co-worker, we are a man at times, we are the taxi driver, the teacher, the cook, the maid, the best friend,  we are the mom and dad, we are the business woman, we are the drunk girl dancing on the dance floor and the mom the next day getting up at six am cooking breakfast for the kids. We are many things to many people. The best thing any of us can do is remember we are not the same every moment of everyday. And hope the ones we surround or selves with understand we are many layers of a soul. I my self am many different people. I understand that. That is the first step to understand ones self. 

I also took this thought and turned it into the art with photography I hope you enjoy.

Welcome to Undressed.
At the very start of my journey with photography, I knew I wanted to get into boudoir photography.When I would bring it up to people I always got pretty much the same reaction ; "There is NO WAY I can do that. I can not pose nude"!  Me ; "It is not all nudes per say, more implied nude". Then I would try to explain what it is. Most people already have a vision in their head when boudoir is brought up. Boudoir it seems has a reputation. So I thought how can I get people to understand what it is ? I stated to call it Hip, Lips, and Eyes session. That helped. But this got me thinking. What is boudoir really? It really can be many things, nude, implied nudes, seduction, love, flirty, mysterious, fun, I had a great pleasure to do a Hips Lips and Eyes session (Boudoir style shoot) I also did a male one . The response to the images I have gotten has been great. Emails, im's, phone calls, text messages.All the same thing I never knew that it could look like that and  be sexy. Book me, I'm in! Now that people see what it is more like. They now want them . No need to be a size 0 ladies! We are real women, and a real women is an amazing, beautiful thing.  The images are beautiful works of art.
I have decide after much thought that this small town is more than ready for what I have to offer. Not all will like it. In fact some will hate it. But others will love it, understand it, and embrace it. Those are the ones that will come to me, those are the ones I want. Not everyone is cut out for Boudoir and that is fine.I can promise you if you think you may be I will make you happy with the results we will get together!
